There's a certain immediacy to the sound and the stereo imaging seems to be remarkably sharp compared to my initial efforts with the Tannoys. They are lovely little speakers, bright, good mid-range, very efficient and with real Walnut vaneer cabinets. Very nice indeed on vocals, albeit with pretty restricted bass. I have the JPW ML310 now, not as good as these but I do really like JPW speakers. Bought them in 1991 from a shop in Tottenham Court Road and recall struggling with them on the tube getting them home! Probably need the capacitors replacing on them now. Bass notes are tuneful not bloated and enough weight, more than you can ask from the size of the drivers and cabinets really.
